Celebrate FIVE YEARS of Sightsee with us!
We’re partyin’ the best way we know how: with a series of weekend events to bring our community together for a good time and a good cause. Join us every Saturday for the rest of October for chef pop-ups, local flowers, and a donation raffle supporting WNC hurricane relief. The events include:
🍜Pop-ups with James Beard finalist & Chopped Champ (nbd) Chef Nikko Cagalanan; local fave wood-fired pizza makers DoughBoyz Pizza; and regular guest chef of Sightsee Chef J. Weiss of Tacos de la Bahia
💐Locally-grown blooms by One Wild Acre
🎟️Raffle benefiting BeLoved Asheville ($5 tickets enter you to win one of three Sightsee prize packages, with all money going straight to this incredible non-profit distributing critical resources across WNC)
**A little personal note about five years**
We are so excited and grateful to reach this milestone — the past five years of brick & mortar have been more than we ever could have imagined, good and bad. Since opening our tiny shop on Line Street in 2019, we’ve navigated a global pandemic, economic uncertainty, rent increases, really slowwww weeks, really busy days, a major buildout and relocation, customers becoming friends, team members becoming family, and everything in-between. It’s hard to put this rollercoaster into words, honestly. Brick & mortar takes everything you’ve got, and there are moments every day where you think life would be easier if you just threw in the towel. But then you’re standing there, looking at this thing you created from a figment of your imagination (and a lot of blood, sweat, and tears. And debt), seeing families and friends sitting down for coffee together, and your team laughing together, and as cheesy as it sounds...it makes it worth it. Like, damn. We did that. So we really hope you’ll come out to celebrate with us because it means the world when you do. You’ve been part of this journey and this is just as much a party for us as it is for you. Hope to see you!! 💙- Allyson & Joel
